Based in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, this post will integrate and grow existing Aerospace activity within the Department of Mechanical Engineering (which includes low speed aerodynamics, hypersonics and space) and will provide links to the Aerospace Engineering interests of the Industrial Control Centre. A lecturer with a flair for imaginative advanced concepts in Aerospace Engineering will be sought. Preference will be given to candidates with interests in novel emerging fields such as autonomous UAVs, new aerospace vehicle concepts and configurations (air and/or space) or new technologies for future Aerospace systems.
